    Michael Ledwidge, fils de parents irlandais, est né et a grandi dans le Bronx. Diplômé du Manhattan College, il est marié et père de deux enfants. En tant que coauteur de plusieurs des livres les plus rentables de James Patterson à ce jour, Ledwidge est passé d'un auteur admiré mais, il faut le dire, largement méconnu, à la coécriture de certains des livres les plus lus au monde. Il en a également tiré un profit considérable, suffisant pour changer complètement sa vie.
