Milia Gottstein has taken on the mantle of leadership at the Survivor's Campaign, an organization dedicated to bringing Nazi war criminals to justice, following in the footsteps of her father and grandfather. Committed to ensuring that Holocaust victims' voices are heard, Milia's mission often overshadows her roles as a wife to busy surgeon Julius and as a mother and grandmother. Just as she plans to pass on her responsibilities and reclaim her personal life, an unexpected phone call disrupts her plans, challenging everything she knows about her present and future. Amid this turmoil, she receives an invitation to speak at a Holocaust conference in Lithuania from Dr. Darius Vidas, a rebellious figure whose motives she questions. Despite being seen as a 'public enemy' for her advocacy, Milia accepts the invitation, driven by her own agenda. As she and Darius embark on their mission, their initial antagonism transforms into a deepening intimacy, complicating their situation further.
