Bilingvní katalog Ateliéru textilní tvorby UMPRUM obsahuje výběr prací studentů z let 2012–2016. Představuje materiálové experimenty, které se vymykají obvyklému vnímání textilu. Studenti zpracovali návrhy pro různé oblasti textilního designu, plošného i prostorového charakteru, ve kterých se textil tradičně objevuje nebo byl alternativně použit. V rámci tvůrčí práce přišli s vizemi a způsoby řešení, které nejsou pouze originální, nápadité, esteticky hodnotné a navržené s odbornými znalostmi, ale týkají se také udržitelnosti, využití lokálních materiálů a odpadu. Na trhu se neustále objevují nové „chytré“ materiály a technologický rozvoj otevírá další možnosti pro to, jak a kde mohou být textilie navrhovány, vyráběny a využívány. Díky konkrétním znalostem materiálů a textilních technik jsou textilní návrháři v jedinečné pozici, kdy mohou využít těchto nových možností. Kromě experimentálních přístupů se výuka ateliéru zaměřuje na tradiční textilní techniky, opakovaný, nekonečný a solitérní vzor, tapiserii a oblast art designu.
