"Suite française" is a planned series of five novels by Irène Némirovsky, a French writer of Ukrainian Jewish descent. After completing the first two novels in 1942, she was arrested and sent to Auschwitz, where she died. Her daughters preserved the manuscripts, which were published in 2004.

He established the Japan Shiatsu College in 1940 and the Japan Shiatsu Association in 1947. Many of his graduates have created their own styles. He passed away in 2000 at age 95.
