"Experiencing the Miracle Power of God" illustrates, through Dr. Elliott's personal experiences, that unexplained events are not mere chance but manifestations of God's will and power. Prayer acts as a conduit for God to perform these miraculous occurrences in our lives, meeting our needs in ways beyond our understanding. Dr. Elliott firmly believes in the miracle-working power of God rather than in coincidence. Born in Hapeville, Georgia, Dr. Elliott accepted the Lord at age 12 and dedicated himself to full-time ministry shortly thereafter. He was baptized by the First Baptist Church in Hapeville and licensed to preach in 1960. After high school, he earned a BA in Psychology from Carson-Newman College and continued his education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, obtaining a Master of Divinity. In 1978, he completed his Doctor of Ministry Degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Elliott has over ten years of pastoral experience in Texas and Florida, along with roles in the Jacksonville Baptist Association and the Florida Baptist Convention for 27 years. He is also recognized as "Chaplain Emeritus" of the Florida Air National Guard, having served nearly 31 years as their Senior Chaplain. Currently, he teaches a senior adult Bible Study Group, plays in the church orchestra, and enjoys writing.
