Komiks vzniklý na základě románu Anne Desclosové (alias Pauline Réageové) se věnuje submisivitě a dominanci a popisuje cestu mladé ženy k tomu, stát se dokonalou otrokyní. Nakreslil ho opět svou jemnou linkou Guido Crepax a i přes silně erotické téma se mu daří vyhýbat se jakékoliv vulgárnosti.
Kniha obsahuje kompletní komiks, který vznikal od roku 1973 až do roku 1983.
Kromě románu Příběh O: Krásná s Roissy obsahuje komiks i další část, Madame O. Pokračování příběhu Pauline Reáge sice napsala, ale nese název Návrat do Roissy, které se mění na obyčejný nevěstinec, v němž je sir Stephen pasákem a O jednou z prostitutek.
Přetvořená podoba Návratu do Roissy však v komiksové knize (i přes zmínku v předmluvě) chybí a objevuje se místo ní nový příběh, který však ve spojitosti s Réagovou nelze dohledat. Zato jeho děj odpovídá filmové adaptaci Erica Rochata The Story of O 2.
