Już wyobrażałam sobie film na podstawie tej książki: byłaby to lekka komedia z nieziemską obsadą. Najlepiej żeby reżyserem był Woody Allen. (A. Sołtysik). Gwiazdy i gwiazdki to opowieść o tym jak grać, żeby wygrać... i czy za wszelką cenę? Wspaniale oddaje klimat współczesnego Hollywood, innej planety, gdzie z ziemskich praw działa tylko... grawitacja. Z topograficzną wręcz dokładnością wnika do jego wnętrza, daje przejrzysty obraz panujących tam zwyczajów, układów hierarchii. W tym świecie wszystko jest możliwe. (D. Woliński)
