So brilliant and quirky is the future's leading genius, Mithrose, that he believes he's become an all-powerful God. As a personality trait, that belief is bad enough, but then he reports to the Impersator, the galaxy's current tyrant and mass murderer, for a second round of torture. There's method to his madness, though, as he's found a way to revive the rightful leader, the Chingress, through the technological magic of a robe, and now must deliver her to her people to begin the revolution. The Impersator has burned the Chingress to death in Plasmine once, and will not hesitate to do so again. He's immolated entire planets of humans, since he's opposed to Mithrose's implantation of human variants to colonize the galaxy. Mithrose brings the Chingress back to life and the star battles begin, with Mithrose's technology and love opposing the Impersator's madness and mass murders. There's a man sent by Mithrose that the Chingress covets, but the process of dying and living again through technology takes its toll on the very human personalities of these characters, and many strange difficulties ensue. The war looks hopeless until Mithrose finds a way to bring the billions of walking dead into the fray against the Impersator.

Resurrection In Vampire Valley is the long-awaited second volume in the popular Vampire Valley series. It begins where The Hostage of Vampire Valley left off, with Maggie's lover Mabin still dead but about to be exhumed by her little brother Tommy after a year of healing resurrection in the grave. Oddly, black blood begins seeping out of the mountain where Mabin is buried, and when Maggie appears to be teetering on the brink of madness, Tommy decides to take action. The black blood has no intention of allowing the boy to rob Mabin's grave of its victim, and instead inflicts on Tommy a horrible condition that has to be rectified with a terrible ritual by his step-parents, Stephanovich and Elsa. Aghast that Tommy is unable to perform his duty of the resurrection of Mabin, Maggie follows her lover into his strange and magical world, where she, too, must undergo resurrection and rebirth, despite the fact that Mabin is only half alive. While these rituals are performed inside the mountain, the black blood is polluting the world outside it and drawing the entire town back into the vampire's nest. Elsa and Stephanovich must deal with the hundreds of resurrected vampires of the Montana town before they can save Maggie, Mabin and Tommy, but they make the attempt to save their children with a ferocity that can be born only of love.

Now We Know Why You Died, a play, is a dark psychological crime thriller in three acts set in New York City before the Twin Towers fell, when everybody seemed to be their own worst enemies. Allie Slayton, a disturbed and burnt-out private detective and veteran working by fax, phone and computer from an apartment he is afraid to death to leave, sets a trap for a young, psychotic criminal, Joey Narducci. When the police fail to nab Narducci, he turns the tables and shows up at the Slayton apartment to terrorize Slayton's dysfunctional family of idiots. Narducci is seemingly put under control, but with a foul mouth and an arrogant personal charm he victimizes and violates Slayton, his girlfriend, his girlfriend's beautiful teenage daughter and his best friend, who's a brutal flake himself. All the crazed personalities of the Slayton clan turn out to be nearly as much a danger to each other as the knife-wielding, gun-toting, foul-mouthed Narducci. They prove your lunatic friends and weirdo family can get you killed just about as easily as a violent criminal can.
