Esse é um trabalho de profunda pesquisa a respeito da lei de drogas vigente no Brasil desde 23 de agosto de 2006. Não apenas se debruça sobre o diploma legal, como também é um estudo dos impactos sociais causados pelo novo entendimento jurisprudencial e doutrinário, em contraposição ao entendimento anterior, da lei que vigorava no Brasil. Propõe-se a explanar largamente o papel da justiça brasileira na vanguarda da compreensão e distinção entre os usuários e os criminosos envolvidos nesta celeuma, nas teias sociais humanas.

As Áreas de Proteção Ambiental constituem uma importante ferramenta para a preservação e conservação da biodiversidade, principalmente em âmbito local. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi descrever as características ambientais da APA do Maracanã, através da realização de um pré-zoneamento para identificar os problemas que ocorrem na região, onde de acordo com os dados coletados foi possível a obtenção do zoneamento da APA, que através deste pôde-se visualizar as principais ameaças que atingem a área, como a supressão de vegetação nativa, disposição inadequada dos resíduos sólidos, ocupação irregular nas margens dos rios, construção de moradias do projeto Minha casa Minha vida do Governo Federal, sendo este responsável pela perda de nascentes e do que restava do patrimônio histórico-cultural, onde a inexistência do plano de manejo e da gestão ambiental são fatores agravantes da problemática em questão.
