Das vorliegende Ergebnis zeigt Schnittpunkte von Philosophie, Mathematik, Physik und Informatik (inklusive Gebiete wie Wissenschaftstheorie, Artifizielle Intelligenz und Logik). Schon allein die Vielfalt der betroffenen Disziplinen dokumentiert ein Thema von allgemeinem kulturellem Interesse. „Mathematik ist unsere unsichtbare Kultur“ war das Motto der Autoren bei der Darstellung dieses breiten Spektrums.
