Die katholische Kirche im deutschsprachigen Raum befindet sich in einem umfassenden Veränderungsprozess, der gerade auch für die Führungskräfte in der Kirche neue Herausforderungen mit sich bringt. Ein reflektiertes Führungsverhalten derjenigen, die in den verschiedenen Ebenen und Strukturen der Kirche Verantwortung tragen, ist eine wesentliche Ressource, durch die die Kirche Gestaltungsraum erhält bzw. wiedergewinnt, um dem Auftrag des Evangeliums Jesu Christi auch angesichts der aktuellen Probleme gerecht zu werden. Auf der Grundlage von Ansätzen und Zugängen der Führungsforschung wird in diesem Band eine Führungskonzeption entwickelt, die kirchlichen Verantwortungsträgern Orientierung für ihr Führungsverhalten bietet.
