    Nadia a toujours semblé destinée à une carrière dans l'illustration. Des gribouillis d'enfance dans ses cahiers aux croquis de notes pendant ses études de droit, sa passion pour le dessin a persisté. Même en tant que journaliste pour le magazine musical Smash Hits, elle ne pouvait s'empêcher de dessiner des animaux sur tout ce qui était disponible. Au lieu d'une réprimande, ses rédacteurs lui ont permis de partir plus tôt pour suivre des cours du soir d'illustration, reconnaissant son talent. Cette dévotion l'a amenée à obtenir une maîtrise à l'Anglia Ruskin University, réalisant son rêve de gagner sa vie grâce à son art et à son écriture.
