Giovanna Zoboli est une écrivaine et éditrice. Avec Paolo Canton, elle a créé en 2004 la maison d'édition Topipittori, dont elle est l'éditrice et la directrice artistique, spécialisée dans les ouvrages illustrés ou non pour enfants et jeunes adultes. Ses propres livres, plus d'une trentaine de titres, sont publiés en Italie et à l'étranger. Elle mène des activités d'étude et de formation sur les thèmes de la culture destinée à l'enfance et à l'adolescence, avec des interventions publiées sur des blogs, dans des catalogues et des revues, ainsi que lors de rencontres, leçons et cours. Depuis 2010, elle gère quotidiennement le blog de Topipittori et collabore avec les publications en ligne Doppiozero et Federico Novaro Libri.
