When Sharon Delaney hears that her classmate, Layne Swensen, was date-raped, she wants Video High to do an expose. Tyler Ratcliff, the show's announcer and Sharon's ex-boyfriend, thinks date rape is mostly hype; Zack Stevenson thinks it's too controversial; and Kris Hogan couldn't care less. The group finally comprises on a show just about dating. Kris is thrilled. The assignment gives her the chance to spend a lot more time with Zack. Then Tyler learns what really happened to Layne.
