Roger ‘Handsome’ West of Scotland Yard is called to the West Midlands to help solve a mysterious double murder that has taken place in a large printing works. The victims were lovers and so suspicion falls upon the dead woman’s husband. West ends up charging him, but then the printing works is sabotaged and there is a further murder.
