While Pharaoh Amenhotep III, more builder than warrior, orders the construction of temples, monuments, pylons, and gigantic statues, Queen Tiyi builds her luxurious palace in Malgatta. There, she receives ambassadors from foreign countries with which she trades and who honor her with multiple favors. During a census of a village's livestock, Neby catches the attention of the High Priest Panehesy, who will teach her the writing of hieroglyphs. Troubled, she discovers a strange feeling that will favor and seal her destiny.
