En savoir plus sur le livre

George Borg is 58 and lives in Malta but spends some of his time in England. We observe him during the three months leading up to the 2017 Maltese general election as the country descends towards a possible dictatorship. The author presents a gallery of pictures painted with words, using watercolours rather than oils. Many of the images include splashes of dry humour. This is an unconventional novel: a curious blend of political history, travelogue and prose poetry. The book was 99.9% complete when Daphne Caruana Galizia, Malta’s leading investigative journalist, was brutally murdered on 16 October 2017. Her Running Commentary blog features heavily in the book. All royalties are being donated to her favourite charity, Dar Merħba Bik, and this book is dedicated to her memory.
