En savoir plus sur le livre

This book does not resemble any of the many other published about Greenland. Even thought it is fairly bursting with illustrations, it is by no means "just" a picture book. And though the text tries to give a historically correct picture of Greenland's development since the earliest times, it does not pretend to be a scientific work. Rather, it is a 'story' book, an account in anecdotal form of the many strange events which have taken place up there in the high North. It is also an account of the equally strange people of various nationalities who - with varying motives - sought fame in the land of the wide open space.
