Twelve-year-old Jake Berman lives with his mum and stepfather in Tanzania. Jake has always been fascinated by a lone elephant on their game reserve, but knows that he must keep his distance. He and his friend Shani are thrilled to find that an elephant relocation programme has selected their reserve for the rehoming of thirty elephants.
