Frank Norris Jones, talented young pianist and student of Samuel Fabian in Washington D.C. left home in 1905 to study for three years with world famous teachers Theodor Leschetizky in Vienna and Artur Schnabel in Berlin. He later further enhanced his skill studying with Tobias Matthay in London. His fascinating European experiences are told in great detail in his own words through the preserved letters written to his family. Returning to the U.S. he became an acclaimed performer and teacher himself.
