En savoir plus sur le livre

This attractively illustrated book encourages younger children to think about their family and about how they fit in among the family's many members. Some kids are their family's only child, while many others have brothers or sisters, or both--some older, some younger. Many children live with their mom and dad, but in some families parents are separated, and in others, one parent has died. Kids also have grandparents, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins--and sometimes they all get together for family gatherings. The author suggests family-related activities in which kids can take part, including making gifts for family members, helping with household chores, and drawing a family tree that includes all the members. The back of the book features a two-page section of guidelines for parents.
