Andrew envies his friend, whose Grandpa lives nearby and can play with him. He meets an old man who seems grouchy and stern at first, but they quickly become friends when they talk about fishing. Andrew was afraid that the man had already been "taken" as a grandpa, but he explained that his own grandchildren lived far away, just as Andrew's Grandpa did. And so the deal was made, and Andrew had a borrowed grandpa of his own to spend time with.
