Just after the Stuart uprising in 1745, with feelings at fever pitch between the Scots and the English, Anstey Frazer is taken prisoner by a troop of Redcoats. Accused of murdering one of their colleagues, she faces a journey fraught with danger from her beloved Highlands to London.
