En savoir plus sur le livre
A sociological study of Hungarian Jewry after World War II. Describes the influence of the "Jewish question" on the land-reforms of the late 1940s and through the revolution of 1956. Relates present-day antisemitic prejudices and manifestations of hatred against Jews in Hungary which were prohibited until now, or rather avoided as taboo. The author, a Jewish intellectual, had to wait four years until his study was published. He recommends free debates on the subject, and calls for tolerance within a democratic society.
