En savoir plus sur le livre

For centuries, spiritual adepts in the mountains of China explored the essence of being human. Known as Taoist alchemists, they developed systems of energetic practice that reveal our true nature. This work introduces a traditional system of Taoist self-transformation called internal alchemy or neidan, outlining core practices and instructional methods aimed at awakening consciousness and enhancing the mind-body connection. Wang Liping, the current transmitter of the Dragon Gate Lineage, is central to this tradition. The first volume details Nathan’s training with Wang Liping and presents foundational practices, focusing on refining jing, the lower frequency of energy linked to the physical body, into the more refined energy known as qi. It includes numerous methods, rituals, and techniques, along with a clear framework for practice. Wang Liping, born in 1949, was chosen by three masters to become the 18th heir of the Dragon Gate Lineage and began teaching publicly in 1985. Nathan, who has taught Chinese internal arts for over twenty years, immersed himself in various Taoist practices since 1997. After extensive training in China, he returned to Canada for academic study of Taoism and was authorized to teach in 2015. Nathan now leads workshops in Vancouver and internationally.
