En savoir plus sur le livre

Since the times of H. G. Wells, dark science fiction and optimistic science fiction have competed in presenting two diametrically opposed visions of the future that awaits us. For some, catastrophes will follow catastrophes until the last bomb or earthquake or plague or famine has destroyed the last man. For others, after a potentially difficult transition period, the sun will shine brightly again on a humanity that is finally wise, just, and civilized, loving truth, goodness, beauty, and so on. But whoever is right, it is certain that in these times, a good dose of pessimism is necessary: and D. F. Jones, the author of Colossus and AT-1, does not answer but shows in this new novel that he is perfectly aware of this.
