Der Albani-Psalter ist die kostbarste Handschrift des Bistums Hildesheim und weist in seiner Bedeutung weit über die regionalen und nationalen Grenzen hinaus. Die für den Albani-Psalter zuständige Dombibliothek Hildesheim veranstaltete im November 2009 eine internationale Tagung, auf der Wissenschaftler aus Deutschland, Frankreich, Großbritannien, Australien und den USA ihre Forschungsergebnisse zur Diskussion stellten. Die Beiträge der Tagung sind in diesem Band dokumentiert. The St Albans Psalter is the most valuable manuscript belonging to the Diocese of Hildesheim and has an importance that extends beyond regional or national boundaries. In November 2009 the Cathedral Library in Hildesheim, responsible for the preservation of the manuscript, organized an international conference. Experts from Germany, France, Great Britain, Australia and the USA discussed various aspects of their research on the Psalter. The papers given at the conference are documented in this volume.
