The range of the Greek artist Dimitris Tzamouranis paintings could hardly be greater: from naturalist renderings to rapid, expressive strokes and painterly spontaneity, his art offers the whole horizon of an artist s experience. This exhibition catalogue shows his most recent works imaginary and dream pictures in which he extracts objects from their natural spatio-temporal contexts and recreates them into phantasms. In his paintings forms and figures appear which deviate from the conventional order of the environment and constitute a new displaced reality.
